Do you recommend using a Qur'an that has colour coding for the tajweed rules?

Answer

The copy of the Qur’an that has color-coding for tajweed rules is a noble attempt by some to assist those who may have difficulty learning and applying the tajweed rules and use them in proper recitation.  It may help small children quite a bit.  Educated adults though, would benefit more from learning the tajweed rules and applying them without color coding so that they understand why a certain technique is used, how it is used, and when it is used, plus, and more importantly, that they can recite the Qur’an with tajweed wherever they are, and from any copy of the Qur’an.
