Assalamalaikum.  I am learning tajweed from a qualified teacher, but she has tajweed books only in Arabic and Urdu. Is there any tajweed book available in English? If so where can I get it in Saudi Arabia. Thank you.

Wa alaikum assalaam wa rahmatu Allahi wa barakatuh.  There are two tajweed books in English that we know of available in Saudi Arabia, one is just as the title implies: A Brief Introduction to Tajweed, by Umm Muhammed.  It is published by Abul- Qasim bookstore in Jeddah.  Their phone number is: 671-4693. 

The second book is the first of a three part more detailed study of tajweed (parts two and three are not yet published), Tajweed Rules of the Qur’an, part one, by K.
