Assalaamu alaikum.  Could you please explain what is meant when it is said that the formation of the science of tajweed is the words of the Glorious Qur'an and some said Honorable Hadiths also? May Allah reward you.

Answer

Wa alaikum assalaam wa rahmatu Allahi wa barakatuh.  This statement refers to the formation of the rules of tajweed. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah upon him, read the Qur'an with tajweed, and Allah ta'aalaa said:.

interpretation of meaning : (and recite the Qur'an with tarteel or slow measured recitation)

There are many hadeeths about tarteel and how the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah recited, through these, the rules of tajweed and the science of tajweed was formed. One hadeeth: "The recitation of the Prophet  (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was clear, with each letter pronounced distinctly.” (Musnad Ahmad, 6/294, rated as a Saheeh hadeeth), demonstrates that the articulation points of the letters was precise. 

The formation of the science of tajweed with the rules laid out became necessary when non-Arabs entered Islam, and the Arabic tongue started weakening away from the classical Arabic spoken at the time of the revelation.  The formation of these rules is based on the Qur'an and the Sunnah, as laid out in the various hadeeths on tarteel, and by the transmission of the recitation of the Prophet,  in authenticated and documented chains one by one from the current reciter to Prophet Mohammed,  .  And may Allah reward you too.
