Question As-salaamu ‘alaykum, I’ve heard some recitors read ayah 27 of Surat al-Qiyamah as “wa qeela mar-raaq” instead of ‘wa qeela mann; raaq” as though there’s a “shaddah’ on the ‘ra’. The way you heard this aayah being read then is an authentic and valid way for reading when reading any of the other ten qira’aat besides Hafs ‘an ‘Aasim and some of the ways of Hafs ‘an Aasim from tareeq at-Tayyibah. Wa iyyaakum wa-l-muslimeen. Wa assalaam alaikum. |
