Question

Assalam alaikum.

I know of the rule of noon and meem mushaddad, is it posted anywhere on your
site?  Plus is there any letter (for example laam) on which prolonging of
the shaddah is allowed in of the 7 qira'ah?

There is no prolongation of the  in any of the qira’aat by the way of Shaatibiyyah, but Hafs ‘an ‘Aasim has some ways that have a ghunnah with the idghaam of the  saakinah or tanween with the  and .  These ways of reading are by Tareeq at-Tayyibah, and one must be fully knowledgeable about how all of the special words of Hafs are read with these ways, and the length of the mudood before reading them.
