Wa iyyaakum. We
are not offended by your question at all, but are distressed that there would
be disagreements among Muslims over tajweed rules.
Allah in the Qur’an ordered us to ask those of understanding, when we
do not know something. There are
many great scholars of tajweed in the Arab world, most notably, Egypt, Saudi
Arabia, and Syria. If there is a
question that someone has and they are not satisfied with our answers, they
should turn to the head of the Qaaris in Egypt, or Syria, or ask Sheikh Ayman
Swayd of Jeddah, a top scholar in the field of tajweed. We

Qur’an who have received ijaazah (permission to transmit and authenticate
recitation of the Qur’an, in a chain going back to the Prophet,
