Question

Does the word "  " have qalqalah of  ?  I can't hear it when I listen to the reciter.  This is in surah AnNaml, aayah 22:

 Shookran wa jazakumu Allahu khairan!

 Answer

There is no qalqalah  on the  of the word: , because the  merges into the next letter, , an incomplete merging.  The  is not pronounced, but the characteristic of itbaaq on the  remains.  This is called  or incomplete merging.  All other characteristics of the  are not present with the idghaam.  This type of merging, will be discussed very soon, insha’ Allah in the tidbit lessons.
