Question
As Salaamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh
When stopping on a letter where the preceding letter is a letter of qalqala, is the qalqala pronounced? For example, in Surah Tawbah [9:72], if stopping at jannati adn, then is the qalqala on the dal of adn pronounced?
Answer
Wa alaikum assalaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.
Yes, the qalqalah letter is read with a qalqalah even if the next letter is read with a sukoon when stopping on that word such as when stopping on:

in surah at-Tawbah aayah 72, or when stopping on the word:

in the phrase,

in surah Saad aayah 44.
Wa assalaam alaikum.
