Allah reward you for this very informative site. I want to know what rules will be taken into consideration when making idghaam with ghunna in laam and raa for Hafs via the tayyibah tariq.can you make qasr in madd munfasil and idghaam with ghunnah? Jazakallah
Wa alaikum assalaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. Jazakum Allahu khairan for your dua'.
There are many ways in Hafs by the way of At-Tayyibah that have the ghunnah with the idhgaam of the noon saakinah and tanween in to the and . Almost all of the ways have six vowel counts lengthening for and various lengths for . Of course, each way has special rules for some of the special words and word combinations. Since you mentioned qasr, or two vowel counts for in the question, we will give the rules for that lengthening and six vowel counts for with a ghunnah on the idhgaam of saakinah and tanween into the and , by the way of Al-Hamaamee from the way outlined in Al-Kaamil, by tareeq al-Feel. This is not the only way in At-Tayyibah with a ghunnah in the idghaam of saakinah and tanween into and the with qasr of and six vowel counts of .
The following rules should be obsvered:

All occurrences of the words and in aayah of 54 surah Ar-Room are read with a only.
The word in aayah 36 of surah An-Naml is read with no when stopping.
The letter in the word (aayah 63 of surah Ash-Shu’araa’) is read with tafkheem only when reading in continuum with that which follows it.
The separate letter found at the beginning of surah Maryam and surah Ash-Shooraa:, is read with four and six vowel counts.
There is no in the following aayaat , , , and .
Note: there will be a ghunnah when reading , because there will be idhgaam of the saakinah into the .
The word in aayah 11 of surah Yusuf is read with idhgaam and only.
There is of the saakinah in the words in aayah 42 of surah Hud. There will be a qalqalah on the since it is saakinah.
There is of the saakinah into the in the word in aayah 176 of surah Al-A’raaf.
There are two allowed ways of reading the words ( Al-An’aam 143, 144), (Yunus 51, 91) , and , (Yunus 59 An-Naml 59), all with a questioning hamzah before a hamzah al-wasl; with of the hamzah al-wasl into an alif with six vowel counts lengthening, or with of the second hamzah (hamzah al-wasl) where in it is read between a hamzah and an alif with no lengthening.
The words (Al-Baqarah 245), (Al-A’raaf 9 ), and (Al-Ghaashiyaah 22) are all read with a .
