Question
Assalamu alaykum respected sheikh, i have one question..

I revise my hifz alone and i know that i do some mistakes when revising without noticing them, is it good idea to recite with reciter (i like sheikh Shuraim a lot) simultaneously and to do revision that way..i think that way revise blind hufaz, may Allah enter them into Firdaws with us..
May Allah reward you
Answer
Wa alaikum assalaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh
The best way of revising is to recite to someone who has also memorized the same section and for them to stop you when you make a mistake.  They should not immediately tell you the mistake but inform you that there is a mistake.  If you can't correct it, then they will tell you the correct words or word.
If this is not possible, then the section option would be for you to record yourself reciting, then play it back and note your mistakes.
Reviewing simultaneously while listening to a recording of a sheikh read is not an accurate way of reviewing.  Many things may slip by you and the sheikh may be reciting quickly.
May Allah reward you also.May Allah give you firm memorization of the Qu'ran and accept it from you.
