Is it true that if we choose to stop at waqf ta'anuq, it is preferable to stop at the second dots; instead of the first dots? Answer Ta'nuq al-waqf is a set of three dots at two different places in a phrase indicating one can stop at either but not both of the places. It is not preferable to stop at one over the other, instead one can choose which one to stop at, after studying the change in tafseer each may possibly have.
