Question
assalam. Please explain to me the articulation points of the word ALLAH

Answer
Wa alaikum assalaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh,
If you are starting the Glorious name of   (not continuing from what is before it) , you start with a hamzah which is articulated from the deepest part of the throat, accompanied with a fathah.
Then there are two because of the shaddah (after the first merged into the second).  The first is saakinah and the second has a fathah.  Both are articulated from the lower third sides of the tongue until the sides end up at the tip and the gums of the top front eight teeth.  The first with have no accompanying mouth or jaw movement, and the second will have an accompanying opening of the mouth. If we are starting on this word, both   s pronounced will have tafkheem or velarization, meaning there is a heavy sound to it.
The last letter is and it, like the hamzah, is pronounced from the deepest part of the throat.  If you are stopping on the Glorious name of , you will not have any mouth or jaw movement, but if you are continuing, the example we used has a dhammah, so you would circle the two lips and protrude them forward at the same time,  leaving a small space for the sound to exit the mouth.
