Question
As salaamu alaykum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuh, I have seen that many reciters during taraweeh while reciting in hafs an 'asim recite madd munfassil with 1-2 counts, so if some one recites madd munfassil with 1-2 counts, are their any more changes in the way of Hafs 'an 'Aasim ? like some words to be pronounced differently?? or all other rules remain same? or is a person mixing between Shaatibiyyah and Tayyibah? and is this allowed? Answer Wa alakum assalaaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh, Usually if the imam reads with two vowel counts for in the riwaayah of Hafs he reads four vowel counts for , as this is the most common tareeq of At-Tayyibah for qasr of . The medd al-munfasil cannot be less than two vowel counts. The rules for some special words when reading Hafs 'an 'Assim min tareeq at-Tayyibah when reading qasr of and four vowel counts for are found in following PDF link: http://www.abouttajweed.com/The%20Reading%20of%20Hafs%20with%20qasr%20munfasil%20wassit%20muttasil.pdf We need to follow these rules so we do not mix two tareeq together. One should not mix them intentionally. |
