Question
assalamualaikum teacher, may ALLAH reward you for all this ameen. My question is that some qari told me that it is allowed to read the start of surah yaseen and surah alqalm with idgham, like nouwalqalami wama yastoroun and yaseeowal quranilhakeem. is it true? jazakallahu khair. Answer Wa alaikum assalaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. Jazakum Allahu khairan and may Allah reward you for your good questions. There are ways in the riwaayah of Hafs 'an 'Aasim by the way of At-Tayyibah that read the saakinah at the end of the separate opening letters at the beginning of these two surahs, with an with a ghunnah when reading in continuum with that which follows . One has to be reading one of these turuq to read the saakinah with the idhgaam, meaning they are applying all the rules and special words of that tareeq. One cannot just decide on his own to read this with an idghaam while reading by the way of Hafs by the way of Ash-Shaatibiyyah, for that is not in the riwaayah. In conclusion, the saakinah end of the opening separate letters of Surah Ya Seen and Surah Al-Qalam is read with Idghaam in some ways of Hafs 'an 'Aasim min tareeq At-Tayyibah, but in the way of Hafs 'an 'Aasim by the way of Ash-Shaatibiyyah, this saakinah is only read with . Wa iyyaakum. Wa assalaam alaikum. |
