Question
Salamu ALaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu jazakallhu khair for answering my previous question. I wanted to know if Shaykh xxxx had any mistakes in his qiraa'ah cause i heard he rolls his ra? benefit us barakallahu feekum Answer Wa alaikum assalaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh, We are not here to point out mistakes or possible mistakes of individual shuyookh. Every reciter of the Qur'an is human and will have a mistake here and there over the course of time. Remember the leaders of the mosques get sick, lack sleep, and have trials just like the rest of Muslims, and it may be we listen to them on a day that is difficult for them and maybe their reading is not as good that day as on most other days. As shuyookh get older, they usually get physically weaker and it may be that their reading will suffer on occasions because of this weakness, when previously they did not have this problem. We have listed shuyookh with good recitation which doesn't mean others don't have good recitation, but we are familiar with their recitation, their recitation is consistently at a good level, and they have ijaazah from mastered shuyookh. May Allah reward all that lead the prayers and make us all of "ahl al-Qur'an." We understand that your question was out of desire to learn, but we prefer to focus on the explanation of proper tajweed application and not the mistakes of individuals. Wa feekum al-barakah. |
