I have a question regarding the Madde Munfasil. I hear it is quite common for some sheikhs especially in taraweeh prayer that they leave the Madde Munfasil and do not do it. Can you elaborate on why this is so? If I am aware of exactly where the Madde Munfasils are in the Qur'an, may I also leave them? JazakAllahu Khair

Answer
The shortening of is a different tareeq than Tareeq Ash-Shaatibiyyah and there are rules which need to be observed on special words for Hafs, when shortening it to two vowel counts.
