Question
Assalaamu Alaikum. How do I know if the Mushaf I'm reading is hafs an aasim?  Please help.

Answer
Wa alaikum assalaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh.
The high probability is that it is mushaf for the riwaayah of Hafs 'an 'Aasim.. Usually, the front cover states which riwaayah or qira'ah it is, but if it doesn't, you can find it stated most likely on the inner pages at the beginning or at the end of the mushaf.
