The female 2 ,We continue outlining the words and their places of occurrence that end in a female , but are written in some places in the Qur'an with an open . As we stated in the last tidbit lesson, it is vital that we know these places in the surahs we have memorized in order to know how to stop properly on these words if the need be. Hafs 'an 'Aasim stops on these words as they are written in the copies of the Qur'an. If the word (with any type of vowelization on the end of it) is written with a (which looks like), we stop with a saakinah; but if it is written as (with any type of vowelization on the end), we stop with a .
There are two places in the Glorious Qur'an where this word is written with a .
Imam Al-Jazaree documented these two occurrences in his poem famously known as al-Jazariyyah when he said:
It is conditional that this word be written with when the woman is mentioned with her husband. It occurs in the revelation seven places (two occur in the same aayah, or aayah 10 of At-Tahreem).
Imam Al-Jazaree pointed these out in the lines from Al-Jazariyyah:
This word was written with a two places in the Qur’an, both in surah Al-Mujaadilah:
Imam Al-Jazaree said:
This word was written with one place in the revelation in surah Ad-Dukhaan, it is written with in all other places.
Imam Al-Jazaree pointed this out when he said:
We will continue outlining the words that are normally written with , but have some incidences in the Glorious Qur'an where they are written with next lesson, insha' Allah. |
