Salaam aliykum:

I am taking a Tajweed class at my mosque. The Imam was using a Qur'an that color code all of the Tajweed rules in the Qur'an. He said this Qur'an can't be bought in America. do you know how I can obtain one?

Wa alaikum assalaam wa rahmatu Allah.

We do not actually advise tajweed students to use the color coded copies of the Qur'an, since they lead to being dependent on the colors instead of learning the rules. 

We did a search on the Internet, and found that a website :
  http://www.halalco.com/quran_taj.html  sells the color coded tajweed marked copies of the Qur'an online.  We do not endorse and are not familiar with this site, but put the link so you can look into the matter.
